How is the DTV reception in New York City? I notice on the FCC database that WABC is running 11.7Kw, WPIX is running 7.3 Kw and WNET 9.3 Kw from Empire state Building. It doesn't seem that is enough power to penetrate buildings around the NYC city area.
Even with a new outdoor antenna and only being 4 miles from the ESB Channel 11 is still very weak. No difference from the Terk HDTVa indoor antenna. Channel 13 comes in okay but fluctuates a lot. Channel 7 has always been strong even with the indoor antenna and outdoors it is about 10 points stronger.
Channel 11 needs to BOOST THERE POWER BIG-TIME also so does channel 13.
