As you know where I'm at ..bad for both Digital and Analog

I bought a used RCA TV Antanna, works great..But I have get 4 DTV stations, 2 of them I have to put the Antanna in the right way to get a signal

I was watching The Simpsons on KTXL everything was great, but at random times, it will break up to the point I can't watch - It only last a min..then it will be clear

What I'm getting at will thoes Inline Amps work on UHF?? I see one 40-2500MHz ..Don't tell me about those Antanna with Amps in it, I have one(I don't have a plug for it)..I don't think it will make a diffenets

I got an Amp, But it goes up to 450MHz
 
I use the Channel Master CM7777 amp.....I have also had my antenna without the amp.....I think the amp is necessary.

Also, the closer to the antenna the amp is, the better, from what I understand.

Can't tell ya. But, www.solidsignal.com is my go-to for antenna info. They will gladly answer any questions you might have. They should have a questionnaire for you to fill out online.

How far from the towers do you live? Digital signals can be **too strong**, it's possible adding an amp will make reception *worse*.

Does that mean you're using an antenna that contains an amplifier, but you don't have the power plugged in?

That could be your problem. An amplifier without the power connected usually actually makes signals *weaker*.

Almost always, if you can't have an outdoor antenna, old-fashioned "rabbit ears" are your best choice.
 
I bought the Antanna Anp used so it didn't come with a PSU, I have to buy one

I'm in Vallejo..in the worst part of getting reception..I'm to low to the ground like driving all the way down a hill, the only station I get being clear with no break up is KTNC-DT

The only TV station are interested in is KCRA/KTXL/KXTV/KQCA and KMAX...KOVR comes in great anytime
