DTV Signal Question

Is it possible to pick up 2 different stations from 2 different markets using the same RF signal at the same time by using high directionalize antenna?

For example, lets just say WXXX-TV NBC 2 using RF 18 from City A pointing west and WZZZ-TV ABC 3 using the same RF 18 from City B pointing east.

I know the FCC repackage the TV spectrum from RF 2-36 and squeeze all of the tv stations into these slots with short spacing between distances.

It should work, as long as the antennas are directional enough to exclude the station signal from behind ("Front-to-Back Ratio"), and there are no points of reflection that would bounce the other signal.
In some cases, a professional setup (a cable headend, or translator relay), might use some type of phasing system as well.

Yes but it may not stay that way. years ago tried to phase out a weather service station to get another on the same frequency and found that every day the exact position of the received antenna had to be adjusted
