from Dubuque Telegraph-Herald

WMT-CBS Cedar Rapids
WISC-CBS Madison
WGN Chicago
KDUB-ABC Dubuque
KWWL-NBC Waterloo
WSNS Chicago
KCRG-ABC Cedar Rapids
Cable TV 10
WHA-PBS Madison
KIIN-PBS Idaho City
alternates between WHBF-CBS Rock Island and WQAD-ABC Moline

I'm surprised WOC-6 Davenport/Quad Cities (now KWQC since Dec. 1986) wasn't carried full-time in Dubuque at that time. Not even being alternated with WHBF and WQAD on cable channel 13. Giving the system a second NBC in addition to KWWL. (Maybe KDUB could have been bumped to cable 5 and WOC put on cable channel 6 instead).
