Dude?

Well, it's official, as of 12 Noon Monday, December 2nd "Port City Radio" has moved to a low-powered FM in Wilmington, 95.9, and also 1180 AM, WSFM in Carolina Beach, as a result, they won't survive, and what did they replace it with?, "The Dude" 93.7 and 106.3 playing mostly New Country and songs they say, you won't here anywhere in Wilmington, all i have to say is they won't last either because most listeners don't want to change their habits, WWQQ, better known as "Double Q 101" will remain the choice for those who like Country for years to come, and what will happen to "The Dude"?, just fade away.

The Dude should play classics. That'll get people's attention.

I couldn't pick it up where I go to the beach but I think 106.3 was the last station to play the classics. WLSC in Loris, if I remember correctly, plays them, but AM in Myrtle Beach is pretty much non-existent with all those high-rises and the electricity needed to run them. And that's in September or October.
