Dudley Waller

Wow, I hadn't even heard he had passed. My condolences to Mrs. Waller and the entire family. Of course, his legacy is cemented in East Texas, and everywhere that you can pick up KOOI Jacksonville, you can thank Dudley Waller for it. If not for him, KOOI would likely not exist and KEBE would probably be a brokered time throwaway broadcasting from some suburb of Dallas right now.

I'm sure it's too soon, but is there a plan moving forward for the Waller stations that are left? With Waller's passing, will they end up in a trust resulting in them being sold off? I believe there's only 4 now; Pittsburg's KMPA, KFRO-FM in Gilmer, KLJT Jacksonville, and KZXM Bullard.

Found this additional obit on the Autry Funeral Home website, which has a section available to leave thoughts and sentiments for the family.
