Dueling Doctors There Shall Be

Most Recently Confirmed.....

KTTV has slotted the newest Oprah spin-off The Dr. Oz Show for 11am beginning 9/14, opposite The Doctors on KCAL. The second run of Dr. Oz will air at 5pm, and to not break up the "reality" TMZ and The Simpsons will swap places between 6 and 7pm. King of the Hill moves to Midnight. So Fall 09 on FOX 11 looks like this:

5am News/Good Day L.A.
11am Dr. Oz
Noon News
1pm Cops
2pm Divorce Court
3pm Judge Jeannie Piro
4pm Wendy Williams
5pm Dr. Ox
6pm TMZ
6:30 The Simpsons
7pm Malcom in the Middle
7:30 The Simpsons
8pm FOX Programming
10pm News
11pm The Simpsons
11:30pm Malcom in the Middle
Midnight King of the Hill

FOX 11's run of The Office is set to begin at 11pm on the 21st. It's not yet known how that effects the rest of the late night schedule.

Elsewhere on the Dial.......

Without Marie Osmond, KTLA is adding......more news! In addition to the EXPANDING Morning News (4am beginning on the 21st), one hour newscasts will be seen at 1pm, 6pm, and 10pm. That will put them at 9 hours a day of news programming. Bedises Tyra Banks the other new to KTLA show, Star Trek: The Next Generation will be seen nightly at 12:30am. To make way for that, one Family Guy gets put back on late afternoons at 5:30pm. Friends will run from 11pm-Midnight.

That's what I get for having the spell check on auto at work. The Office is actually being spilt in L.A. KTTV gets one episode, KCOP gets the other. Most other markets have two episodes on the same station. Full schedules for KCOP and KDOC posted soon.
