Duffy, "Mercy"

She was on either Conan or Carson Daly last night. On a side note,Natasha Bettingfield was on Letterman last week. They both performed the pop versions of their songs.
 
I love this song....but I dont consider it dance...not even a little bit. The same with Rehab last summer(a Whinehouse). The Duffy track is hot and totally different and needs some top 40 love not Dance adds.
 
Which remix?The one with the GAME? If we still had our Friday afternoon music talks we would have been argueing about this one for sure(if it fit the dance format)lol. I keep playing this song at my clubs and I'm not getting any reaction to it....this one is going to need more radio ;love and spins.
 
There is a Gareth Wyn remix. There is also a DJ Flashlight (unauthorized) mix out there that I like but it's more dancable urban than straight up dance.

This is a good song. No doubt it's an Amy Winehouse off-shoot. They are aggressively pricing the album to show some big sales early. I've seen it for $7.99 on cd. Time will tell if this is the next big artist or just another one hit wonder.
