Take away Jessica Simpson (yum!) and Sean William Scott (Stiffler from the "American Pie" movies) and what do you have? A "Jackass" (Johnny Knoxville) and a washed-up Burt Reynolds. Big deal. The original CBS series was dumb but it was supposed to be that way (it was on at 8 PM afterall!) Warner Brothers won't be getting any of my money, thank you!

Well I saw it. It was alright, but seeing it once was enough for me.

BTW it was #1 at the box office with $30 million, so it looks like Warner Brothers will be able to recoupe the $53 million it took to make the film and the $17 million they had to hand out in settlements to other licencees who sued them over the shows' rights and name.

That was quite a surprise,I thought that it would flop big time. I read that most of the audience that went to see the movie was under 25 which didn't surprise me a bit. Besides that,Knoxville and Steiner look like Coy and Vance than they do Bo and Luke. Also shocking that it is the best opening totals for both Burt Reynolds and Willie Nelson. All I can say is that they will do the Coy and Vance 5th season of Dukes Of Hazzard on DVD to coincide with the release of the movie on DVD. Perfect timing, isn't it??

I was shocked to see how they didn't make any attempt to have the Dukes look like their TV counterparts. I thought at least they'd dye Jessica Simpson's hair.

The bigger question will this movie serve as a jumping point to other movies or will she become another Olivia Neutron-Bomb, so to speak. (In regards to movies)

:)
