DULLSVILLE

In the department of irrelevance, the guy at the Rock 100.5 tent at the Peachtree Road Race announced that Colandro was running. Isn't that like announcing that Micheal Dukakis is in the crowd?

I did hear Orff on Star 94 on Monday and he used to be on Dave FM, so it was nice to hear him again.

And he sounds great! Good for my good friend Tim Orff. That guy DESERVES to be on the air! Kudos to Scott Lindy for hiring him.

Does anyone have any new information on anything?????

BRENT, to answer your question, here's something that no one has covered on the Atlanta radio forum that happened several months ago. I apologize everyone for this being so late. Back in March and occasionally since then whenever I would tune in to Atlanta's Morning News on AM 750 & NOW 95.5 FM News/Talk WSB-AM/WSBB-FM, I've noticed that Ted Clark is no longer the producer. Therefore, no one has heard him come on after the conclusion of the rebroadcast of the Ilyce Glink Show on Monday mornings as well as after the Boortz Recall segment of Re-Boortz on Tuesday-Friday mornings. Jay Black, who's well known with the Triple Team Traffic Team, he's been taking Ted Clark's place thus Charlie O'Brien is doing weekend overnights (early Sat. & Sun mornings), and now Andrew Spencer is doing weekend afternoons & evenings. Now that everyone knows all this, does anyone know whatever happened to Ted Clark? Was he let go AKA fired? Did he retire? Or did he die in some way? I know he is greatly missed. If no one knows whatever happened to Ted Clark, that's okay. I understand. Thank you.

Usually, when someone is "let go", he or she is also taken off the station's website, so THIS may be a clue. ;)

Thanks, trusty, but sometimes the actual TV station, TV network, radio station, or radio network web site isn't always accurate. Wikipedia isn't always accurate, either. To refresh some other people's memories, Ted Clark wasn't just known as producer for Atlanta's Morning News. He was also known as co-host with Mark Arum on the Arum & Clark Expedition, now known as simply The Mark Arum Show as Mark flies solo whenever he does the show on select weekends. Here is the Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WSB_(AM).

Where IS Ted? He was one of the producers of the infamous "Saturday Night All Request Dance Party" on B98.5.....FM.

A hell of a nice guy, and an excellent producer of a kind of oddball, but waaay fun weekend feature show..

Would love to know where he is.
