DV Dongle

I saw a new Ham radio toy that has interesting applications for us. the DV Dongle.

A Dongle that has a two way modem if you will that allows users to connect to an IP address. Cheap, little, and at least better quality than phone. Has anyone used this or had any experience with it?

The developers have schematis, programming (open) that allows users to reprogram.

Hi Chuck,
Have you received any more information on using the DV Dongle for our type of application? I really don't care about d-star on the ham bands. I have enough trouble finding time for anything other than local UHF and VHF on the way to work. For all the use I get out of my Extra, I might as well have a no code tech!!!!
