DWTS - How much can they spray on the tan?

Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) - How much can they spray on the tan? All the dancers and contestants had spray on tans. Some of them looked hideous. I saw it on analog tv and it looked bad. I am sure it looked worse on digital. Some of them almost looked they had orange skin.

Two things:

1) Adjust the color on your tv set; or
2) Buy a new set.

Who cares about spray tan!

As long as the pro ladies show their legs there are no complaints.

;D

Maybe they should retitle the show "Dancing With The Scars"?

Funny, and oh by the way, the color was ok on my set. I am looking at upgrading to HDTV at some point. Either way agree on the leg comment.

Did anyone check with Griffith Observatory to make doubly sure this wasn't a George Hamilton Eclipse?
It's a pretty common occurrence in La Land.

Well, they saved some Euros by having David Alan Grier, Lil' Kim & Lawrence Taylor on this season. No need to give them the Orange Glo! ;D

In the 13 March 2009 Entertainment Weekly (George Clooney et all on the cover) they interview this seasons DWTS. Hurt anchor Nancy O'Dell mentions how "on Sunday they line up everybody for a spray tan. They spray everyone from head to toe."

Reminds me of a Sunday in 1975 when 14-yo yours truly was watching NBC's NFL pregame show (then called Grandstand) with Jack Buck and a rookie (except to Chicago viewers) named Bryant Gumbel*. We had a Zenith, 7 yo but already with balky color capability. Anyway, that day, my mother, observing Gumbel, said, "That guy looks green! Did you play with the color again, [ixnay's real name]???" :-[;D

*Seventy-five was also the debut year (on CBS's The NFL Today) of Brent Musberger, another dude whose road to the network took him through Shytown. But I never heard of Brent or Bryant until that 1975 football season.
