Not a bad opening this morning in Springfield, OH. Not volumes of loggings (especially with a very few clear frequencies thanks to K-Love/Air 1/Radio U translators and iboc) but two new ones:




102.1 WDNL Danville IL..."D102" morning show wrapping up into Fox News. Usually WIMT in Lima owms the frequency.

104.7 WIOT, Toledo, OH...no positive ID but heard Bob and Tom a few seconds ahead of or behind the feed on local WTUE.

104.3 WOMC, Detroit. Dick Purtan show, usually get smooth jazz out of the Columbus area.

Didn't stick around for IDs but believe relogs of WRIF, Detroit, and Toledo's "River".
 
Driving to work I heard the Chicago FM's clear as day! 99.5 WUSN, The DRIVE, The Loop, and of course 93.7 was burnin my speakers! Crazy stuff!
 
i had WNIC out of detroit yesterday morning on 100.3 on my way to work along with a lot of Illinois stations i rarely get because on tropo i usually go over into ohio or southern or northern indiana for dx here in central indiana
 
A good evening last night and this morning...and it's continuing this evening.

8/13 last night

93.7 If WQIO carries the NASCAR talk shows, I had them running roughshod over WFCJ last night around 7:45pm If not then ???

95.1 WXIL, Parkersburg WV in solid

My TV is as blind as a bat with the rabbit ears to DX but I caught WSAZ-TV 3 in the Huntington WV area w/ weather. Does Huntington/Charleston have a channel 8? ALso recieved an "8" that wasn't Indianapolis.

This morning:

Relogs of 96.9 Kiss FM (WGKS) Lexington, KY over and under WOKL...not only on 96.9 but also being relayed by the K-Love translators on 96.7 and 103.7! (no KLove on the translators). WGKS also in this evening but though the translators are very noisy, it's just K-Love.

94.5 WMXL..over and under WDKF, Englewood OH

103.3 WRZX, Indianapolis. Obliterating the Air 1 translator.

100.1 WKQQ, Lexington, KY ID into Bob and Tom. Not heard here since they were on 98.1

91.9 UNID NPR station with KY mentions

Yes that would be WCHS which would be serving the charleston area under the affiliation of ABC.

Your 93.7 could have been WDGG Ashland, KY. I believe they run NASCAR. Country format the rest of the time.
