What are your personal DX'ing and e-skip records?
From Coldwater, MI:
Longest translator catch: W204BF 88.7 Fort Wayne, IN- 58 miles
Longest tropo catch: KICK 97.9 Palmyra, MO- Around 375 miles
Honorable mention: WOVO 105.3 Glasgow, KY- Around 350 miles
Another honorable mention: WIL 92.3 St. Louis, MO- Around 325 miles
Longest e-skip catch: KGFC 88.9 Great Falls, MT- 1343 miles
Shortest e-skip catch: WPOC 93.1 Baltimore, MD- 470 miles
WERQ 92.3 Baltimore, MD- 470 miles
One interesting fact.. I have received both tropo and e-skip from Pennsylvania (of all states). I've heard Erie's WRTS 103.7 and WXTA 97.9 through tropo and i'm pretty confident that I heard Philly's WMMR 93.3 during the same e-skip that brought the Baltimore stations last summer.
I would love to extend some of these records. I think the front line of radio stations in Idaho (Idaho Falls, Pocatello, etc) are all possible through e-skip
