DX in Connecticut

Got a clear ID on WAAC "All American Country" Valdosta, GA, booming in on 92.9 in Meriden, CT, on my car radio around 1 p.m. today. Also heard hip-hop dueling with WUCS (ESPN Radio) on 97.9, and very strong fire-and-brimstone preaching on 88.3, wiping out WPPB Southampton, NY, and splattering into WFCR 88.5 Amherst, MA, but had to leave the car before getting IDs. Anyone else this way hearing DX?

Incredible amount of E-skip making it into the FM band for this time of year, almost every day from 12/25 til 12/31.. I logged 12 new FM's during that week, here in Poughkeepsie, NY... from Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin, Arkansas and Florida.... including WAAC Valdosta, GA which actually was overriding my local WBPM on 92.9 on Dec 30.. Also during the week I caught DTV skip from WMC-5 Memphis, WHBF-4 Quad Cities IA/IL, WOI-5 Ames (Des Moines), and WTVF-5 Nashville.
I was particularly impressed with the FM signal from KZPS-92.5, "Lonestar 92.5" Classic Rock from Dallas. This was not a new log.... I've heard them many times, but the signal was potent, and actually sounded louder and better than my locals on 92.1, 92.9 and 93.3. They played great classic rock too.
This was a great way to end the year. Looking forward to more great DX in 2016.
