Greetings from DeKalb, IL!

Heat and T-storms kicking up fm and tv dx Saturday afternoon and night. FM dial completely alive with multiple stations from Milwaukee, Madison, Quad Cities, Peoria, Springfield. Furthest stations, all positively ID'ed, were:

100.7 KGMO Cape Girardeau, MO classic rock 320 mi.
103.9 KUOO SpiritLake, IA "Campus Radio" 342 mi.
95.9 KILR Estherville, IA "Killer B Country" 322 mi. (over local WERV)
104.3 WZYP Athens-Huntsville AL "saturday night house party" 510 miles...strong as a local for 2 hrs saturday night

on tv, channels 5, 11, 26 from Green Bay with 26 at local quality for approx. 1 hr...listened to WVBO winnecone-appleton-oshkosh on 103.9 on way to work over usual WWYW this am.

In Monee IL, I was unable to get stations from anywhere near those distances. However, I had some STRONG tropo on UHF from South Bend IN, Fort Wayne IN and Battle Creek MI. On a handheld LCD TV the distant analog stations were as strong as the high-power Chicago UHFs. Some Chicago LPTVs were completely covered by DX.
