DX in Warwick, RI while in Warwick for a few days. Suggestions?

Not sure where to begin, but I’m attending a Navy reunion and have brought my Sangean AM/FM HD radio as well as a Best Buy Insignia FM only HD radio; I want to explore both bands and if WCBS is still in HD; I want to hear that. This is my 2nd day here and haven’t had much time to explore, but at the Warwick Crowne Plaza, dx’ing in the hotel is completely impossible , some type of white noise completely wipes out the AM band, even 1450-Sports does not come in. I had a few spare moments today between some meeting and went outside the building, but only by about 75 feet and the interference was less, but still there. Tomorrow I hope to go out several hundred feet from the buildings. Tokay outside the building I was able to pick up (with the white noise still trying to dominate) 590, 888-WCBS (just barely) and 1450; around 10AM. Any suggestions on HD catches or usual formats to listen to on either band. Thanking you in advance. Btw- this white noise is even causing havoc on the FM band; just not to the degree as on the AM band. Drt

Cyberdad? Providence or Warwick residents. Anyone?!?

Update: went outside in the far end of the parking lot, at least 300 feet from any buildings! Received WINS 1010 in HD (was a bit surprised, since I know there signal is mostly directional to the east), the local 1450 was coming in very strong, as it should since it’s tower is less than 2 miles away. WCBS 880 was the big surprise, the signal was fading in and out and at best was weaker than WINS 1010; I suspect the hotel is in WCBS’s nighttime cancellation zone? Any thoughts on that?
