DX Question

This morning at 8:45, I was pulling in KRVN (Lexington, NE) here in Canyon Lake, TX. I’m curious if that time frame falls into the category of daytime sky wave or the last vestiges of nighttime sky wave?

I also pulled in what I think was KDRI out of Tucson; that may fall into the same category as I’m positive it was daylight in Tucson.

I would say it is the latter. If they were still there an hour later, I'd be more likely to say it was daytime skip.
Now, if this were July I'd have to say 8:45 AM was daytime skip.
