DXing 1260 L.A

Shango got 1260 KKOO from Weiser, Idaho ("101.5 Kool FM"), which is supposed to be only 36 watts at night, but perhaps was "accidentally" using their 8400-watt daytime power:

Frozen East Coast here.
That was a pretty inclusive report. First one I ever saw of an actual DXer account during those rare but crucial times terrestrial radio and TV's treatment of an emergency is called to the colors.
Media reports of disasters can tend to be 'safe', or cautiously optimistic, of a sameness. probably because treatment of them is largely the product of rudiments and past procedure. Key word: 'past'.

The video struck me as being 'now'.

From the frigid other coast: Most likely a "thanks" is an erroneous word in this case. So Mario/Kevin/Shango, How about a thumbs-up for providing a very interesting and different perspective of observations during a catastrophe?
Best of 73's!
