Dxing Far Away FM Stations

Try driving to the beach, or along ocean parkway, or on the north shore! You can pick up decent stations if the conditions are right! I have picked up DelMarVa stations and once i picked up a St. Louis Missouri station on the south shore! I lost them as soon as i crossed the bridge on the way back.

Don't expect to get St. Louis with any regularity. That sounds like e-skip to me, and it's a relatively rare occurrence, but fantastic if you're near a radio when it happens.

I got alabama stations last summer cutting in over on my portable sony walkman, WXRK (at the time) 92.3 k-rock which is a local where I live. I was cool to see this be happening as well. to top it off you can see the nyc skyline in the distance
