Dx'ing Florida AM stations in December

I hope this information is helping for those trying to receive Florida stations.

FYI here are the daytime (full power) hours for some Florida stations in the month of December:

7am - 5:30pm Eastern:

560 - WQAM - Miami (sports)

610 - WIOD - Miami (talk)

710 - WAQI - Miami (political talk - Spanish language) - 50,000 watts day

940 - WINZ - (sports this month!) 50,000 watts

540- (WFLF Orlando talk) (Fox news at top of hour)

580- WDBO (talk) Orlando (ABC news at top of hour)

620 - WDAE - St. Petersburg (sports)

970 - WFLA - Tampa (talk) (Fox News at top of hour)

1110 WTIS - St. Petersburg/Tampa - brokered religion/informercials

1380 WMNI - Radio Disney- St. Petersburg

820 - WWBA Largo - (talk) - ABC news at top of hour

1040 - WHBO - Pinellas Park (ESPN sports)

I'd also add 690 WOKV from Jacksonville. They have 50,000 watts during the day non directional and can be a good catch up north during the critical time when they haven't switched to nighttime mode and it's already dark in the northeast.

WOVK's daylight hours in December are from 7:15 through 5:30 Eastern when they power down.

Another possible catch from Jax would be 1530 WYMM, which is also 50,000 watts, they are a daytime only station and the December hours are 7:15 - 5:30.
