What are your best DX catches and when did they occur?

From Coldwater, MI

Longest e-skip: KGFC 88.9 Great Falls, MT- 1343 miles- July 2003
Shortest e-skip: WPOC 93.1 Baltimore, MD- 470 miles- July 5, 2004
Longest tropo: KJEL 103.7 Lebanon, MO- 500 miles- Sept. 20, 2005
Longest translator catch: W204BF 88.7 Ft. Wayne, IN- 58 miles- 2003
Most active frequency: 92.5- 22 logs
Number of stations logged: 776 since October 2002 (as of 7/12/06)

I know some of my records are nothing compared to what others have been able to receive. Here's what I want to accomplish by the end of summer.

800 new logs
Breaking my e-skip distance record even if only by 2 miles!
Get a couple more new states I've got two new states already, NM and NY.
 
Frequent E-Skip openings this season has really helped boost totals. Lawppy, I know you pulled ahead of me last summer, but it looks like I've got the lead for now.

Here in Poughkeepsie, NY since May 2003:

Longest E-Skip: KZWY-94.9 Sheridan, WY - 1674 miles - June 18, 2005
Shortest E-Skip: WCMU-89.5 Mt. Pleasant, MI - 567 miles - June 20, 2005
Longest Tropo: WLHT-95.7/WFUR-102.9 Grand Rapids, MI - 609 miles - August 21, 2003
Longest Translator Catch: W273AB-102.5 Owego, NY - 41 watts - 118 miles - June 16, 2004.
Most-active Frequency: 93.7 - 30 logs
Number of Stations Logged: 818 as of July 13, 2006.

Wow! Was your Sheridan, WY to Poughkeepsie a double-hop catch?

I guess I should have included the wattage from my best translator catch. 88.7 W204BF Fort Wayne is only 10 watts, but 174 meters above ground level.

After yesterday's awesome e-skip, I added another station to my most active frequency of 92.5. I now have 23 stations on that frequency.

Also after yesterday's e-skip, my total is now 787 stations since October 2002.
 
KZWY-94.9 Sheridan, WY may well have been a double hop, but you really can't tell by listening. It would seem to be too far to be a single hop.

What makes it more likely it was double hop is that at the time of the reception, I was also getting reception from Wisconsin within 25 or 30 miles of what would be the half-way point of the KZWY double dop. This I know a hop from Wisconsin to New York was definitely possible... I just don't have evidence that a Wyoming to Wisconsin hop existed.

Anyway, I'd sure like more double hops... that's the only way I'll be able to get Colorado, New Mexico and other points West.

I've traditionally focused more on TV. Hopefully my logs will increase when I put up the outdoor antenna (APS-9) I bought instead of using my car radio (which is actually pretty good) or my T-80 / rabbit ears combo (not that good).
