DX'ing western US stations

Yesterday afternoon, I picked up the following stations while on the Natchez Trace: KWYK Durango, CO; KWRK Window Rock, AZ; and Channel 95.1 Albuquerque, NM. This is, literally, the first time I've picked up FM stations from those states in MS (though I once picked up a Wyoming station here).

Looks like there was some great DX over Memorial Day. There's some reports of hearing Mexican stations a in Alabama.

I sure hate that I missed it.

One of my best DX catches was Albuquerque to Grenada, one of the rock stations. It even came in full HD for a few minutes. Less than a month later, I was in Albuquerque and listened to that same station. It put out a monster signal east of Sandia Crest with HD decoding a good 50 miles out. Strangely I couldn't get the HD to work at all one I was in Albuquerque proper.

Edit to add: it was KZRR 94.1 that I heard.

Nice lil E's opening yesterday morning and evening. Missed most of the morning opening because of work, but did work some 6m hamradio in the vehicle at lunchtime to WV and heard VT also so double-hop Es was in play at least on 50Mhz. Heard several Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada) FM's including 94.3, 97.5, and 99.1 late yesterday afternoon (July 6). I did hear Byron WY on 92.1 for a bit also.
