DXING WMHK (89.7) IN ATLANTA

While driving to work north of Atlanta on GA 400 Thursday Morning, I picked up WMHK 89.7 on my car radio. The reception was so great, it almost sounded like a local signal, other than the static blips while listening to the Steve and Amy morning show. I immediately tried to pick up some of the other Columbia powerhouse signals like The Big DM 101 and 97.5 WCOS, but had little success.

It was great hearing the term "The Midlands" again on my radio.
