just outta curiousity, what does the warm weather have to do with station reception?

i think it has something to do with the lake and the sky conditions.

IT is called 'TROPO' and is related to the 'good' weather.

Was watching WSEE Channel 35 from Erie, Penn.

Using a code called SINPO or SINFO; 5 = good 1 = not the best.

Strength, Interference, Noise, Propagation or Fading, Overall.

Best reception was from a hill north of Parry Sound.
Received: Toronto, Buffalo N.Y, Cleveland O., Detroit Mich., Bay City Mich., The Saults, Sudbury, North Bay, Pembroke, Ottawa, Kingston, Watertown N.Y., Syracuse N.Y., Peterborough, Oshawa, a failr good set of catches on FM for a first try.

Go to the DX column for good info and hearing about interesting catches.

the PD at star in the 90's told me - the humidity..
helps with the signal coverage, and it helps it carry..
why / dont know?
but, it is true, when it sizzles..all the stations tune in!
