Dylan Dreyer leaving WHDH

Dylan was green when she got to WJAR (then an NBC O&O still I think) but improved her delivery and look in short order. Things got better at 'HDH (NBC watching her improvement).
Since Al Roeker isn't going anywhere I'd guess this is the NBC early morning broadcast (whatever they call it now) or maybe the Weekend Today Show.

As good as she's got, I don't think she's anywhere near as strong a broadcast talent as Kristine Johnson (WCBS) who has probably gone the farthest in recent years (from NE market).
Diana Perez had the looks and ability? to get to NYC as well.
 
It's been officially announced! She is the new weather anchor for Weekend Today. Now, if they could get rid of that dreadful Jenna Wolfe...
 
A well-deserved promotion.

It's my understanding that in the next few days/weeks, Ms. Dreyer is also getting married (she's blogged about it).

It's quite a Summer for her!
 
She had her first broadcast and was ok. I don't know if she's up to the showbiz garbage of Weekend Today --Dylan's kind of serious-- as Allred used to call her a nerd. But I hope she does well and deals with the nonsense.

Interesting to see what HDH does in the morning on several fronts. It's a real battle and losing DD had to hurt.
