Mark Hunter, host and producer of the weekly radio program called "Dynamite Christian Country,"
has decided to discontinue the show.
Citing low response from listeners and few affiliate stations, the final broadcast will air this weekend,
Sept. 18-21.
The program, which is in its 13th year, was started as a local program on Tallahassee's WCVC-AM
and was syndicated by Mark to several affilaite stations shortly thereafter. It primarily focused on the
Christian country music genre.
My station, WJJD Internet Radio, has carried DCC since 2001.
Mark has a new project in the works, but says DCC has run its course.
WJJD will carry the DCC final broadcast Sunday Sept 21 at 6 pm EST. We also have permission to air some
back programs after that if we choose to.
Mark has been a personal friend for many years, so please join me in praying that God will guide him
in making decisions regarding his future plans. Mark has a heart for God and really wants to reach lost people
with the message of the gospel.
