"Dynamite", "Only Girl In the World" impacting AC chart

Agreed, and keep in mind that the most of the stations that are playing these songs are programmed more like H/AC (yes, I know there are some exceptions like LiteFM who is more aggressive than most)...they just report as AC. So those songs get more spins. WCFS, WWFS, WNIC, WIAD, etc.

Is WNIC in Detroit still reporting as AC and not Hot AC?

I don't know. The Mediabase charts on AllAccess list them as AC and Hot AC. I'm now assuming that maybe they have started reporting as Hot AC.

They're on the Mediabase Hot AC panel now - I think the station you saw showing up as AC is their HD channel

In any case, I think WNIC may be realizing that they made a mistake by switching to Hot AC.
