E. Berry Smith Dies

E. Berry Smith, the former senior VP of Schurz Communications, died on Tuesday, July 29 of natural causes. He was 82. He started his career at WIRE in Indianapolis and was inducted into the Indiana Broadcasters Hall of Fame. His profile appears in the book on Hoosier broadcasters, "In The Public Interest".

I had the pleasure working with him after Schurz bought WASK-AM-FM in Lafayette from Duchossois Communications. He was a wonderful person and well respected broadcaster
