E! drops _original_ Stern shows

...but will air re-runs for the foreseeable future

http://apnews.myway.com//article/20050622/D8ASTFE00.html

E! Entertainment Television said Wednesday it will stop airing new episodes of "The Howard Stern Show." The last episode will be seen July 8. (snip)

Stern won't immediately disappear. E! said it would be airing reruns of the show - more than 2,000 were filmed over the years - for the foreseeable future.

good riddance

All of his "shows" are the same old crap anyway. He is a national embarassment.
Good riddance. I hope his move to satellite causes a long, slow, and painful "professional" death.

jealous - no
bored, disgusted, appalled, unimpressed, annoyed - yes

His shtick is fine for horney 12-year-olds, I suppose. Personally, I outgrew that crap LONG ago. Evidently, you have not...

Oh yeah...you really proved yourself with that last sentence there, pal. If you outgrew him years ago, then obviously you shouldn't care if he's on or not, since I am assuming you don't watch (or listen) to his show.

His show isn't any different than what Lifetime programs -- they each have their target. And if E! wants to target that 12-year-old hornball, then that's their business. To each their own.

There are only so many cable channels/frequencies/satellite services out there.
This a waste of space. And, no, I am not your "pal".
