What If...
Radio Didn't Exist?

I noticed it here in southeastern Wisconsin about 9pm, after a day full of severe weather.

I was using the Boston Solo radio beside my bed. The thing is awesome. Here's what thy radio delivered unto me.

You can tell I'm getting tired...

All on the evening of 6/12 CDT

92.9 9:13pm KROM San Antonio, TX 1071 miles
Spanish music w/some local ads, even one English for a car dealer.
"Estereo Latino"

10:36pm 93.9 KMXR Corpus Christi, TX 1148 miles
70s oldies with local ads.
"Oldies 93.9"
(This came over Chicago's WLIT)

93.5 11:03pm KBHT Crockett, TX 878 miles
Jingle into woman giving weather & classic country
"Big Country 93.5"

95.5 11:20pm KZFM Corpus Christi, TX 1153 miles
Top 40 music with listeners calling in their love messages
---the love messages are what helped nail down the COL---
"Z-95"
(This overrode Chicago's WNUA)

There were a few unIDs...
97.3 soft rock with John Tesch
99.5 hard rock
94.7 light rock

John Tesh is on Stars 97-3 here in Lubbock. I live in Lubbock, TX and since you were hearing a lot of stuff out of TX, it is possible that you could have been hearing KLZK Stars 97-3.

There is a rock station on 99.5 in San Antonio...so perhaps you were hearing "KISS" out of San Antonio.

94.7 no idea. It might (not positive) but might be WTGB Bethesda, MD, with their (former Triple A format, now they are classic rock)
