Today I took a spin through the dial as I was seeing E-skip reports. I didn't get any E-skip at first, but I was getting some nice tropo out of central/western Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula.
These are all new today:
90.7 - WMVM Goodman, WI (147 miles, 7kW); in with WNMC
92.3 - WJPD Ishpeming, MI (167 miles, 100kW)
92.7 - WRPP Manistique, MI (119 miles, 24.5kW); no sign of WAUN
95.7 - WHWL Marquette, MI (165 miles, 100kW)
98.9 - WVCX Tomah, WI (208 miles, 100kW); matched 104.3 (WVCN)
99.9 - WSAU Rudolph, WI (165 miles, 13kW); WHAK trying to come in as well
100.3 - WUPT Gwinn, MI (167 miles, 100kW); no sign of WNCY or WQON
101.9 - WDEZ Wausau, WI (173 miles, 98.5kW); with WLDR
105.7 - WCUP L'Anse, MI (195 miles, 51kW); peeked up over WAPL for a few seconds
106.1 - WACD Antigo, WI (152 miles, 10kW)
While listening to Sean Hannity on WSAU, I heard a Spanish station come up. I thought there definitely had to be E-skip from somewhere as I don't know of any Spanish stations on 99.9 in the Midwest. I went back down the dial and listened to a pop station on 96.5 which was weak. I could make out Corpus Christi in their legal ID. Then I got down to 93.9 and I heard an oldies/classic rock station trying to fight it out with WDOR.
93.9 - KMXR Corpus Christi, TX (1,299 miles, 100kW) [tentative]
96.5 - KLTG Corpus Christi, TX (1,299 miles, 97.5kW) [legal ID]
99.9 - KSAB Robstown, TX (1,299 miles, 100kW) [tentative]
