E-skip brings WTBX Hibbing MN to AL

Was about to get in the pool today, when I was flipping around the radio, when it stopped on 93.9. Expecting it to be WTYK out of the shoals, I almost turned it off, but I noticed that it was a music station. I left it on until an ID, and found out it was WTBX, Hibbing Minnesota, 925 miles away. I checked back again later but it was gone, and nothing else around the dial beyond Nashville Chattanooga or Birmingham was coming in.

Pretty typical for this time of the year. Today was an especially nice day, though, it seemed.

WTBX is a semi-local here in the outskirts of Hermantown. Didn't hear Alabama today - caught the skip late, and logged two new stations from PA / NJ, one of which ran only 750 watts. Then when I finished dinner and turned the radio on again Montreal was coming in strong.

I caught Minnesota Public Radio on 92.9, KCLD 94.9, a CHR on 96.7, and many more I didn't identify. I was driving when the skip hit.
I had my weekly radio show on my college station last night at 10, and I did a legal ID between every song to help you DXers out. If you heard dance music on 90.3, that's WVPH-FM Piscataway. :)

As I was driving through Eastern Colorado Friday at about 11:30am Mountain time, I picked up CIWV (94.7 The Wave) out of Hamilton, Ontario.

Anybody in the Northeast US/Eastern Canada pick up stations in the Great Plains?
