Always great to hear about E Skip catches!

I've been constantly checking the DX Sherlock map and the higher MUF clouds that allow for FM skip have often been located over Virginia and northern North Carolina.

I keep hoping they could form a little more to the south so I could finally get some E Skip from the northeast here in central Florida.

Last opening here for any E Skip was early June.

I am in Rhode Island now, and less than an hour ago, I caught 97.1/The Sports Animal in Tulsa. Reception was spotty, but I heard their "sports flash" as well as a promo for their Ranger game broadcasts.

Had some skip to the Big Easy this evening. The MUF peaked for a few minutes around 7pm and I was able to grab a several TOH IDs including WWL on FM.

I had a big opening today in the Charleston area. I was listening around for a few minutes today, and I got 4 FMs. I got 92.7 from Utica, NY, the River, hearing a mention of Rome. Just two minutes later, or less than that, I got 92.9 the Eagle from Lincoln, NE, with a clear mention of Lincoln and classic rock.

Later in the day, I got 93.5 KKOT from Columbus, NE, and right after that, one from TX, 93.9 KMXR from Corpus Christi, mixing with an oldies station playing "Joy To The World" on that frequency. I knew I got 93.9 because I heard an ad for Hooks baseball (Corpus Christi baseball team). I don't know what station was playing Joy To The World.

The opening is still going on.

I'm amazed that you get as much as you do! I don't think that the Pacific NW rakes in the Es like the south and east.

cd

Congrats, Peter. Great Es catches.

Unfortunately, here in southeast WI. I've only caught TWO openings...6/12 & 6/22. I got my first Mexicans on 6/22, though.
