E skip happening now in TN

Hearing Spanish up to 107.1. Frequent mentions of Matamoros with a promo including English clips from Sex in the City 2 on 90.1

A big Es opening happened in your area today. A DXer in Kentucky got E-skip from Mexico (XEW satellite) on TV7!! 144 mHz paths were noted in the same area, and FM riddled with stations in areas.

Positively IDed XHRYS on 90.1 "Stereo Hits" seems I had a lot of the Brownsville and Matamoros area (Hip Hop on 104.1 prob KBFM). Had Spanish on 92.7 107.1 among others. Also Spanish audio from a Channel 6.

I too heard lots of Spanish on FM on 5/30/10 here in East Tennessee, most notably on 92.5, 104.1, and 97.1 (where I heard some sweepers with many mentions of "Caliente" which was the only word I recognized.) The music on these stations sounded more Mexican than Cuban so I'm assuming these signals were from Mexico. Heard a decent TV signal on 87.7 too. Sounded like a childrens program in Spanish based on the tone of voice, background music, and so on. This was about 1pm Eastern time on Sunday.

I had Sponge Bob on channel 6 about that time here in the Nashville area. Wasn't hearing the audio (there's a 15,000 watt station on 88.3 a few miles away) but it pretty much had to be Mexico.

Plenty of FM from the Rio Grande Valley, both sides of the river. There's apparently been a recent two-station flip to Jack FM down there & I heard both frequencies - explaining why I heard "104-9 Jack FM" on 95.3!

Heard more of the same today. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend much time with it since I worked all day, but the 87.7 Spanish TV signal came in clear as a bell today.

Received in southern Middle Tennessee about 7:30-8 p.m. Wednesday:
92.5 KWOF Broomfield-Denver, Colo. (ad for Longmont business)
93.1 KRVN-FM Lexington, Neb. (ad for ericksonsfurniture.com - in North Platte)
95.3 KBBN Broken Bow, Neb. (heard TOH ID)
101.3 KOZY Scottsbluff, Neb. (TOH ID and local ads)
