Any kind of skip is news here, given our dry climate. Our atmosphere has had plenty of moisture the last few days however, so I checked the car radio for anything unusual around 2PM Mountain.
I wasn't disappointed. At first I thought it was some very active tropo. It was tough to stay locked on any one station for long. But I was able to ID a couple of stations: 107.5 "The River" WRVW Nashville. Included a promo for CW 58, which matches with Nashville's WNAB. The other was even tougher. 106.5 WKDZ Cadiz KY, was fairly stable until 2PM TOH ID, when it started ducking in and out. But FOX news checks out per website, references to nearby Fort Campbell and Pennyrile Pkwy. And on 107.7, references to St. Louis, so I'm going to call it KSLZ.
That's all the time I had. Tropo is still as rare as hen's teeth here...but e-skip always works for me.
