E-skip NOW, TX to VA (Thu 7/28 730pm)

In Richmond VA, driving in my car I just picked up KCBI 90.9 Dallas (sounding like a local) plus an NPR Station ID'd as K-something. Lots of other unknown stations fading in and out quickly in the 88-92 range. I'll see what I can get now that I'm home...I'll post more later tonight...

There was some E-skip in Durham, NC this afternoon. The only stations I IDed were 92.9 KNIN from Wichita Falls, TX and KTRX 92.7 from Dickson, OK. I think I heard KLUR 99.9 from Wichita Falls and KLAW 101.3 from Lawton, OK as well.

This morning around 11:15 I heard a number of unknown Spanish language channels overtaking the empty and semi-local channels in the 88-92 range. Probably from Mexico, as the southern states seem to have had an opening from the SW today.

The cutoff frequency for activity here was around 91.9 where everything below was highly active, and above was dead. Didn't last long, perhaps 10 minutes.
