Speaking of getting E Skip in the west, I have good memories of the times I would visit my brother in northern California in the summer back in the day and look at analog TV E Skip.

I remember the most distant reception I would get was from Texas and I was seeing prime time TV shows when it was still officially late afternoon California time.

I would say your UNID is KCHK/New Prague, MN The reference to "Old tyme" music fits since the station plays polka and (as they dub it) "old tyme" music all day Sundays and have since day 1.
 
I just listened to the KCHK webstream (a week later almost exactly) and the DJ sounds like "Jim Hersky", the voice and cadence matches!! I'm counting it as a NEW one! Would be #450, 6000 watts at 1,310 miles!
