Is their a possibility of a connection between What Causes DX conditions and so called Paranormal activity. I dont know if any of you read up on any paranormal stuff at all, but their is whats called Electronic Voice Phenominon, which is when (SUPPOSED) Voices from Spirits, can be heard on Audio Tape, but not by the Human ear.. Skeptics say that it is DX from distant radio signals, that are somehow picked up by the Magnetic Tape recorder Device,,(WHICH SOUNDS IMPOSSIBLE)... I do beleive that their is some conection between the atmospheic conditions that cause DX, that also cause Sound, and lights to bend and reflect, and be seen in strange places, therefore Causing ORBS, Strange Lights, Mistaken UFOs, Ghosts... ECT All I know, is that Whenever massive DX happens, their seems to be Massive Paranormal reports Happening at the same time, and same places where the DX is happening...............Thoughts and comments by those who may have a clue, because I dont. You can do a GOOGLE search for Electronic Voice phenominon, and find out what they are. They definatly exist, but what causes them, thats the question?

Well, the people who do this try to find the empty spots in the spectrum. As any DXer knows, there is no such thing as an empty frequency. Something somewhere is on it.

http://www.worlditc.org/ is chock full of info on the things EVP enthusiasts have heard and seen. Some of it I can't explain. A lot of it, however, is almost certainly DX to which a metaphysical explanation is incorrectly attached.

And yes, I've noticed the correlation before. When I was like 9 (mid 80s), there was a brief spate of UFO sightings in our town and it also happened to coincide with the best westward AM opening I've ever heard in Alabama. I haven't heard most of those stations here since (KGO, KXL, KABC, the Marshall Islands station, to name a few).

I don't believe in ghosts, UFO's (at least in the sense of aliens), but I do believe that demons exist, and I do believe they are always present, DX conditions permitting or not because the Bible tells us that demons do in fact exist.

It's amazing to me how many people are willing to believe in all sorts of supernatural phenomena (ghosts, UFO's, aliens, etc), but don't believe that demons exist. However, if more people were accepting of the fact that demons do exist, then that would also indicate that a Hell exists too. A lot of people don't want to believe that Hell exists, so maybe that's the reasoning behind why other paranormal events are more accepted.

I found a link from one of Art Bell's radio shows a few years back where he interviewed people who were drilling somewhere out in Russia, and they believed they had dug into Hell because they recorded some rather strange noises from the site, sounds of what appeared to be screaming, people in torment, etc. Although I do believe Hell exists, I don't believe those people drilled into Hell since Hell is really a spritual realm, and therefore I don't believe Hell is under the earth, etc since we're in the physical realm. Also, those noises can undoubtedly be explained by something natural, rather than supernatural.

Listening to that recording of those sounds, though, was rather disturbing, to say the least. It may not be Hell, but if Hell sounds anything remotely like those sounds, I know I don't want to go there.

I remember on the good dx opening here in North AL back in september it was an eerie feeling for some reason. then coming home at night ant there was a full moon rising, adding to it, while listening to Rock 103 from memphis like it was a local

I've heard that, too. Not sure if it's the real thing, but very scary sounds.
 
Those voices sound terrified... and panicky. Like the world is ending.
Art Bell was right to be worried about it.
