E skip this evening

One one IDed in the car, 93.9 from McCook, NE. I discovered the opening becasue I had 94.9 on, there was a station with national news, local news ad community announcements in and out with WSWD. No idea as never caught an ID or enough local info to ID it.

Finally some good FM skip here in Poughkeepsie, Monday, 6/1, with four new logs.

7:36 KKJK "Thunder 103.1" Ravenna, NE, with loud rock. Most distant logging of the evening at 1290 miles.

7:42pm KRFS-103.9 Superior, NE "Superior Country". Nebraska #28. 1266mi.

8:12pm KWME-93.5 Wellington, KS, "Oldies 93.5", 50's,60's, 70's. I heard a cold segue from the Monkees into Andy Williams! 1288mi.

8:24pm KIND-102.9 Independence, KS "102.9 Rocks", Classic Rock, Kansas #14. 1204mi. This brings total FM log since May 2003 to 1186 stations.

Also noted previous log KKOT-93.5 (Classic Hits) from Columbus, NE at 8:05pm. Around 8:40pm, I had 2 strong signals coming in: jazz on 89.1 and religious talk on 91.1. They both may have been Wichita,KS, but I didn't catch any ID's or other info. Everything was gone before 9pm.

Let's keep the E-skip comin' in June!
