E-skip tonight to Texas and Mexico from ID. 6/9/2025

This evening I had a pretty fun Es opening into El Paso, and then it extended well past the Mexican border and into other parts of the country. I only have two IDed so far, but I have several UNIDs that I captured audio for and will update when I get a couple of DXers to ID them for me.

Skip started at 9:19PM MT with KHEY-96.3 El Paso, TX, ID "96-3 K-HEY Country" and Carrie Underwood song. 100KW at 1019 miles. After the earlier romp near Snowbank Mountain, this is #247 in the ID logbook.
For the next 30-40 minutes, the band slowly opened up and reached the high point at 104.1. Other than a 94.3 with hot AC/top 40 (missed the ID, possibly Deming NM?), an 89.7 with religious talk, and 88.5 classical (likely KTEP), the rest of the band was en Español. I have multiple UNIDs recorded on 92.1, 93.3, 92.9, and 101.3. There was Spanish talk on 89.7, sounded like a public radio station. 89.3 had Mexican music with no IDs (likely Chihuahua). Noted Spanish rock on 103.7, Ranchera on 104.1, Gloria Estefan in Spanish at 91.3 (possibly XHEPL Ciudad Cuautemoc), more Spanish music on 95.7, and another Spanish station on 93.7 at times.
The lone Spanish ID was at 10:05PM MT - 95.3 XHDCH-FM Santa Anita CHI (serving Cd. Delicias). IDed as La Ke Buena. This is my first Mexican station IDed from Cascade, 25KW at 1,271 miles.
Skip faded shortly after. Two clips are attached. It's nice to get into more exotic regions of Mexico and not just the border towns. I could never do this from Yakima as Delicias is over 1,500 miles away. Let's hope for more of the same as the month goes on!

Update isn't a great one. None of the clips (92.1, 92.9, 93.3, 101.3) that I sent to DXers had any IDs. Just generic PSAs. I assume they were all Chihuahua FM stations.
