Rather weak e-skip opening here yesterday (7/23/18), albeit if I was 4 hours east of here I would have had skip up to the 2-meter band. Think I was on the edge of this cloud. Approximate times of course.
9:28AM - 95.9 KSSR Santa Rosa, NM; with 'Just Got Paid' Johnny Kemp, very strong signal and parallel to online stream. Relog, 50KW at 1156mi.
9:40AM - 94.1 KMXJ Amarillo, TX; with commercial for car dealer in Hereford. Relog, 100KW at 1246mi. Also heard country music on 95.7, likely KPUR Amarillo.
9:55AM - Unid 88.7 Religion fadeups, couldn't hear it at TOH
10:00AM - 96.3 KERP Ingalls, KS; with TOH ID, KERP Ingalls, 'The Marshal' reference, etc. Relog, 100KW at 1194mi.
10:06AM - 95.5 KWEN Tulsa, OK; with ID 'K95.5' and concert promo, earlier heard 'Cox Media' reference so it had to be them and not KITX Hugo (which would have been over 1,550 miles anyways). NEW #656, 100kw at 1,452 miles!! This is a long 1-hop reception and is Tulsa #3 heard here (KYLK-103.7 and KRAV-96.5 are the others). At the same time I heard Rob Thomas in and out on 96.5 (not KJAQ), which may have been KRAV. Tried for 94.1/97.5 and didn't hear them darn it.

10:25AM (approx.) - 95.5 KVOB Lindsborg, KS; fair with ad for Tony's Pizza plant in Salina, and rock music. Relog, 15.5KW at 1282mi.
Not heard in Yakima; used an SDR receiver in Kittitas WA (AJ7JA, on SDRConsole version 2) to pick this one up...CANNOT count this one since the receiver is in a different county.
4:52PM - 89.3 KCMP Minneapolis, MN; with 'The Current' ID and weather, stream match as well. This is 97.6KW at 1307 miles from Kittitas, WA. I use this receiver as a 'beacon' for Es here...but it didn't work out on this end. MUF was way down at 6-meters most of the time and did not go above 93 mhz...and even then that was just a minute or two.
I have audio from KZCH, KWEN and KERP coming soon, along with the KCMP log from Kittitas and an unid 93.1 heard before KCMP...likely KATO.
