Eagle - Change ?

I'm a fan of this station, and love Bubba. Second present in the car! If this means I don't have to hear Piano Man, Take the Long Way Home and Bohemian Rhapsody every day at the same time, its a winner for me!!

I actually like it! The imaging is good and it's a good mix of music. Plus, no commercials in the first hour! Is it possible to take any share from WTUE? Hmm....

Thanks for the tweak guys! Caught this as well: “The old format played mostly ’70s with some ’60s in it,” said program director Nick Roberts. “This (new) format is for people who graduated high school in the ’80s.”

Seems to be a 50/50 mix of comments on the changes on the DDN site. People still talking about the format holes of oldies and classic country. Oldies are on the Huber Heights LPFM, and classic country on the "I" stations. I've owned stations and have done both formats. Just a tough sell these days! But if I can ever find a bigger stick, I'd try one of them again in this market!!

Rare Loverboy song on 95.3 now! Nice!!

This station is out of my earshot range, but I must say it's refreshing to see a station launch a format that people on this board actually praise. Best wishes to the staff...hope it works at ratings time!

Yawn! Nothing really changed, same songs with like 20 new songs mixed in...Can we have a real format change please. I still here the same songs over and over.

I understand that 95.3 isn't the best signal in the market, but MAN, if you're not K-99 or WHIO(Radio or TV)to Cox you're nothing but a red-headed bastard stepchild. I knew when they did the "change" a couple of weeks ago and didn't really change much that this is what we could expect from 95.3. I doubt Cox even remembers that they own 95.3 half the time. Sad since this station launched so many long-term radio careers as DJ/Power 95(Jeff Stevens, now PD/OM at Mix, for example). :'(
