Eagle lands in Abq at 98.1

Belen's relatively new low power FM at 98.7 (KBNM) is now also broadcasting on 98.1 in Albq. Get a decent signal near Intel from the .01kw off the crest. Holiday music for now, and I would guess back to the Oldies/New Mexico music format with the New Year. Wonder how this affects reception of Radio Free Santa Fe for those who could pick it up around town?

Well, Radio Free Santa Fe used to have a translator at 95.9. So long as it doesn't interfere with the translator's ability to get the signal, the RFSF fans in Albuquerque should still have that option.

How is the 98.1 translator signal coping with the 98.1 signal from Las Vegas ?
How is the coverage in south Abq. ?
