Early cable tv broadcasts

Does anyone remember or have on tape early broadcasts of services such as CNN, CNN Headline News, The Disney Channel, or any other service?

No tape of it (the launch preceded my first VCR by a couple of years) but I remember that CNN began with live coverage of a news conference Ted Turner called to promote its launch, and I did see most of it. Like most people, I wondered how someone like Turner ended up in the news business ...

Especially when, a couple of years or so earlier, his idea
of a newscast was to put Bill Tush on with a dog dressed up
as an anchor.
