Early Morning Signal Problems

This problem only happens when driving to work. I leave work at around 4:40am, driving south. My signal that time of day is not very good. Lot of dropouts. If I make the drive other times of day it is fine. When driving home from work, it is fine. Can anyone offer a reason for this? Thanks.
