Well it looks like the evolution of the classic hits format that's been going on in a lot of big markets over the past few years has come to Earth Fm. 20 minutes ago they played Outkast's Hey Ya from 2003-2004. A little earlier I heard Hook by Blues Traveler. Over the past few days I've also heard The Sign by Ace of Base and Name by Goo Goo Dolls which were both from the 1990s. They seem to be playing a little more 80s than 70s music now and very little from the 60s
Two thumbs up to whoever is programming EarthFm though --- the music is fantastic. The shift away from the pretty heavy 60s emphasis and all of the soft AC songs from the 70s when it first came on the air was much needed! The music rocks pretty hard sometimes which isn't bad either. Really good upbeat sound!
