Earthquake

How bout that quake.....the Times Bldg glass doors moved back and forth....one of my desk doors opened itself!....Times Tower in good shape; no effect on the base insulators or structure.

I was in St. Clair, painting outside. Didn't feel a thing. In fact, when I left at 4:30 PM, every crack or imperfection in the cement wall I'd just filled was still holding. I didn't even HEAR about the event until turning on the computer and the simple CompuServe page had the story.

Mother-in-law in Elysburg, maybe 25 air miles NNW, felt it, though. She said her one cat was flying all over the place in panic. Weird ; I didn't feel a thing, even up on a ladder. Just one of those things, I guess.
