eas activation

so i caught eas activated on
WRBO
KJMS
WHRK
WBLE (panola under tornado warning)

where are the others? no eas? I didnt make it down to he non-comms i know WYPL generally is good one to check.

WBLE went right back to music on the bird.
I know J. Boyd reads from time to time. I come from old school hometown radio and I just wonder why it sounded like everyone is out to lunch.
I hope you guys fair okay through this okay.

I didn't watch any tv other than CH 5. Kudos to them for staying on top of the situation yesterday. They had excellent coverage and stayed with it even after
it moved through the city. In years past it was hit or miss if areas an hour or more out would get the same coverage.

Can't help but notice for the first time ever 5's radar graphics and features are behind everyone else. I'm absolutely positive Dave's not happy about that, either.

They've been on the cutting edge of radar technology ever since they got the first Doppler radar in town. I installed it in about 1992.
