EAS test problems?

This morning while I was driving around town I heard EAS tests on four stations: WNLT-FM, WRRM-FM, WOFX-FM, and WVXU-FM. Instead of the usual pre-recorded message, I heard what sounded like a tape of WLW commercials. I heard Mike McConnell doing a commercial for Dormia mattresses and Joe Deters plugging Phil Heimlich.

I'm guessing something went wrong on WLW's end... I believe they are the EAS station for this area.

I admit I don't know much about radio; I'm a civil engineer. Any insight or information would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Call me Spongebob and I'll explain it. I've screwed it up in the past, so I know from experience!

You're right across the street. You oughta just stop by.
